Yeah but the Cards shite takes place over 5 game and 7 game series so at least its a postseason that's reflective of who is probably the better team at that point in time. Ask a Braves fan this year if the "one and done" new format is really fair or reflective of what they think should have happened in the postseason.
With the one and done format its a world where George Mason and VCU can get hot and go to the Final Four. That's great, good for them, but if they play most of the opponents they upset 5 times or 7 times, they lose those series early and often.

I will say this, and not that UT is one, but it'll be nice to have another major basketball presence in the conference for the season. Looking forward to it.

But the better teams almost always win it all.
The NCAA tournament eliminates the mentally weak teams. You can't overlook anyone.

No shite wingnut that wasn't the issue, the assertion that we were overrated. Nothing about Mizzou's performance over the course of that season indicates that at all. Lighting struck us one time, same day it struck Duke. But that doesn't mean Mizzou didn't earn its 2 seed or was overrated in having a 2 seed, that's total horse shite.

UK women basketball got their players from track recruits. The main reason for the upgrade it that will become the meet site for the HS track meets. UK wants to focus HS track to UK.

#2 is just retarded. Big 12 had three Top Ten teams all season long, had 6 teams in the Big Dance. How many did the SEC have? How many Big 12 teams did Kentucky alone face in the Big Dance? Oh yeah two.
#3 - even if you for no logical reason don't take Texas seriously and only want to fellate kansas - well Mizzou beat kansas on our court and led kansas by 19 in Lawrence before falling by a single point in overtime after a bullshite no call at the end of regulation, and that single overtime point turned out to be the only thing that separated Mizzou and ku in the league standings at all. So again I ask where was the overrated part? Who was a rival of Kentucky's in the SEC last year who was on par with either kansas OR Mizzou in the regular season as a rival to test yourself on? Vandy and Florida? Child please.

And frankly we did all our shite last year with 7 scholarship players and literally the shortest team in college basketball. I can be proud of it going 30-5 and winning the Big 12, don't give a frick.
Kentucky and Florida will never be our rivals, ku is that and always will be. But at least it will be more fun on the SEC Rant when we play you guys knowing the kind of shite talk that was flying here. Yay for basketball season.
