The decision comes after the school announced LSU basketball coach Will Wade's suspension last week. LSU Freshman Javonte Smart was also not allowed to play during the SEC Championship game over the weekend.
"Hopefully, this gets Coach Wade and Javonte back," said Weston Simmons, a LSU Senior.
Simmons sent out a tweet Monday afternoon calling for the protest. It reads:
"Protest tomorrow at 2:30PM and march at 6PM in front of Matherne's and Nicholson Gateway by LSU. To Protest this incompetent administration and how they have handled this entire situation."
Reports claim the FBI wiretapped phone calls of Wade allegedly expressing his frustrations of being unable to make a deal with a recruit.
Other reports suggest LSU freshman Javonte Smart was the recruit Wade was allegedly speaking of.
"Programs at bigger schools are doing the same thing; caught in the same stuff and nothing has happened to their coaches or players or anything like that," said Simmons.
LSU administrators still defend their decision. There is no word when Javonte Smart will be able to play again.
The team starts post-season this week.

The organizer (Wes) clearly states they're protesting because everyone else cheats and that means they should be allowed to cheat too without consequence. Therefore Joe must go.
