These Arkansas fans ITT are funny.

There is legitimately no way you can watch this man speak and then say you are more comfortable with Pittman considering the disaster of a press conference he had. That would make me nervous as hell seeing my future coach up there about to fall asleep.

Saw Soundgarden, Cornell just yelled the whole time. Really disappointed.

What is funny is Arkansas and Missouri basically just swapped coach archetypes

Arkansas went from Malzahn Offensive Coach to BAWL COACH

Missouri went from BAWL COACH to Malzahn Offensive Coach

Early on?

I saw them 10 days before he died and they were great. I saw them a few years earlier when they first got back together and they were great, too. Saw him on his solo tour in a small theater in Midtown Atlanta, also great.

And Audioslave was just fvckin fantastic. So much talent.

My dad went to LaLa in 1992 and tells hilarious stories about Soundgarden/Pearl Jam - basically Cornell just stood on an amp the whole time screaming (which is why I wondered if you saw them early).

The consensus top 4 imo

Toss in some Smashing Pumpkins, Bush & Soundgarden and I’ll be ready to clear my schedule and smoke a bowl

Bush all-time underrated band

Smashing Pumpkins are hit or miss for me. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I want to punch Billy Corgan in the face. I'll never forget hearing Bullet with Butterfly Wings for the first time, though. BWBW and Zero back to back melts your face.

Green Day is probably in there somewhere too, but only for Dookie. Billy Joe stopped doing cocaine and became a flaming bitch.

Under that accountant-looking face...lies a teeth-gnashing competitor.

Plus, the man can bench press dozens of pounds.

He’s incredibly talented but a mega douche of a diva.

Big early Green Day fan too. They really started annoying me when Billy Joe started shoehorning political shite into every song. Ugh.

I’ve always kind of considered them more alternative than grunge but the line is kinda blurred the further away we get from the 90’s. Same with the Foo Fighters.

Between that and the pop shite......frickin Billy Joe.

My Billy Joe is the Billy Joe that had a massive coke induced nose bleed on MTV Unplugged. Any Billy Joe after that is an imposter.

Who is #2

Mudhoney, Mother Love Bone, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden are all better then Nirvana.
Outside of Grunge but same time period - Thelonious Monster, RHCP, Oasis, Jane's Addiction, and many others are all better then Nirvana.

I do like Nirvana though. CD - Frog stomp by Silverchair and candlebox, which came out later was better then Nirvana.

BTW - Later in the 90's is Modest Mouse, they are GOAT as well.

ETA: The Refreshments - 90's band one hit wonder turned into Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. Their Arizona Rock has given me a new pleasure in music.
