Missouri State just stole Arkansas' #1 target a few days ago in anticipation of Muss taking Southern Cal -

Calipari might be looking for a parachute to get away from Kentucky. A giant, red, hog shaped one could be the perfect fit.

If you go back the the Muss hire.... and apply what we know now to today's situation, Beard makes the most sense and would probably be the dude.
if not him then you get into a lot of what-if's
Wade back in the SEC would be scary... but not sure a big program wants that target on their back just yet.
Tang.... meh.... I think he'd be fine but still nothing to get too excited over.
Moser.... has had success but sustaining it has been a struggle.
Sampson.... may not have enough juice left in the tank to make another move.... but the last couple of years may be enough motivation to make him seek somewhere like Arkansas where the resources are there to take that next step..... we have been to the top of the mountain before and could do it again.
beyond those names I don't think it matters unless you throw in a long shot like Jay Wright which I would love to see but doubt it happens.
