I don't necessarily disagree, but this was the testimony of the one witness (the individual she flagged down to call 911):
"Motorist said he did not recall any injuries on Ennis"

Her lawyer said in an earlier statement that she had video evidence showing where she received those injuries from a fight with another girl.
