KSR is advising UK fans to wear white as the UK section is in a "blue stripe".

I really hate how nice the Kentucky fans are
Their football fans are great! Especially now that they have a solidly decent team. They are certainly not braggadocious about it. They just let the team speak for them. This is decidedly different from their basketball fans!

Still - Kentuckians are pretty damned good people. Always fun to have as guests at a tailgate before a game. Provide some decent food for them and they'll magically present some good name-brand bourbon to add to the party. Maker's is the cheapest brand they'll pull out to share. They are NOT stingy with the good stuff.

UK football fans are easy to like. If you need a reason to hate Kentucky just picture Calapari coaching the football team

Reposting this, hope y'all get something useful out of it. Have fun in Oxford this weekend!
1. If you're over 23 years old and are either married or in a relationship, don't go to any of the following bars: The Annex, Tangos, Roosters, or Round Table. These locations are mostly inhabited by young college kids and aren't very fun to go to when you're not trying to hit on a 19-year-old blonde chick from Dallas, TX. I'd recommend going to the Library, Funkys, the Coop, or the upstairs bar at Boure. The first two are party atmospheres, while the second two are much more relaxed. Harrison's has a cool outdoor patio bar, The Blind Pig is more of a dive bar, Lamar Yard is new with a fun outdoor atmosphere, and you can get a good selection of craft beer at The Growler.
2. If you're having trouble finding a place to stay, check hotels in Batesville, MS. It's a 25ish minute drive to campus and you'll probably find much cheaper rates there.
3. There are tons of places to eat, and I would recommend all of the following: McEwens, Grillehouse, Boure, Ajax, Opa, Jinsei, Snackbar, Big Bad Breakfast, Volta, Saint Leo, First Watch, Newks, El Agave, and Toyo. Those locations constitute a variety of meal types (breakfast, lunch, dinner) at a variety of price points. Also, don't underestimate the food from the Chevron across from the Graduate Hotel on the square. I know all of the jokes about gas station food, but their fried chicken and breakfast food are really damn good.
4. If you're looking for some family friendly stuff to do, there are two movie theaters, a bowling alley, a golf course, bike trails, historic sites, two parks, two farmers' markets, a concert venue, and tons of shopping all throughout the town. If you go see a movie, don't go to the theater on Jackson Avenue, rather go to the one at the Oxford Commons.

Apparently Zach Evans will play with a hip pointer, Jaylon Robinson and JJ Pegues also are apparently ready to play.
Starting Center Caleb Warren will dress but is unlikely to play after a knee injury last week.

Well ... this settles it. If Kentucky ever goes to Oxford again in my lifetime, I'm dragging the RV and getting a spot on Sardis. I don't care that its too far from campus - we'll drive in that morning.
Ole Miss looks like a good time. Hope everybody enjoys it.

Now for the important test... best eye black gimmick.
Jackson Darts Emo Single Stripe (apparently he only uses one eye) or Will Levis with the mirror 7's. (which may or may not also be an L's down)

Going to be interesting to see what a great running back is capable of doing with a bad offensive line

I'm predicting Kentucky 28 Ole Miss 21

I can’t bring myself to hate Ole Miss. I find myself cheering for them quite often.

This brought to you by a school who shot off fireworks in the middle of the afternoon after a loss to Arky (I think it was Arky).
Didn't those fireworks hit someone's car? Lee Corso's or an OM admin's?
State shoots fireworks outside Dudy Noble after every Friday night game. Not a lot of fun walking out after a tough loss and seeing fireworks. The little kids still like it.
