Unfair, you know Dallas people don't tolerate TAMU people much.

Dallas is slowly, but surely, becoming an A&M town. Just watch. 5 years from now, it'll be an A&M-heavy town, in terms of graduates.

I'll become a Double Dawg in May, so I may be a little biased, but at these aTm fans. I didn't even expect a #4 ranking for them, yet they're whining.

Like I said earlier, these ranking systems are rarely consistent. How does LSU and South Carolina move up so far in this list as opposed to the one used by the OP (USNWR)? And how did Auburn fall so far?

Money, playing the system.

Look at UGA and UNC law over the last 10 years, the swings are crazy.

You're going to saturate a metro of 5 million in less than a decade? Okay. DFW has kids going to several in-state schools, as well as major state universities in border states, and returning home for jobs. Not to mention people moving from all over the country for work in DFW.

After the top 4 it does tend to get a little murky.

But the consensus in the top 4 goes:

1. Vandy
2. Florida
3. Georgia
4. A&M

And the Aggies can pout, throw a hissy fit, cry for their mommies or do whatever it was that worked in their old suckworthy conference. Don't matter.

Georgia > A&M.

And don't even get me started on a comparison of our football or other athletic programs.

I do love A&M's ROTC program, though.

How can ANYONE do an honest ranking of these schools, unless you get a degree from all of them?

And yet, it is already happening. A&M is the largest producer of graduates in the state. They've also focused on accepting more metroplex kids over the past decade. It is happening. Panicking won't help you.
