Orgeron is high on there because if we do our usual 8-9 win bullshite with all this talent, fans and admins alike will come down hard on him.
This is "the year" he has to make something happen.

Why on earth would Ed Orgeron but likely to get fired after this season? That doesn't make a lick of sense.

His expectations are high. Look at our board. This is the most positive weve been in years. He cant frick this up.

“Orgeron has been able to win over some people after a solid season last year, but he was never LSU’s first choice," Burns explained. "There’s a chance that LSU is 3-3 halfway through this season, and disaster could strike with Mississippi State, Auburn and Alabama as LSU’s following three opponents.”

easiest money on the board.

Ed isn't going anywhere unless LSU has a disastrous 4 or 5 win season. No way that happens with the talent they have.
He could get a hot seat for next year if he doesn't have a 10 or 11 win type season, though, for the same reason.

LSU is stacked this year.
Which is ultimately bad because y’all will do so well it means y’all will keep Orgeron.

They are going to lose 3 games out of Ga Southern, @ Texas, NW St, @ Vandy, vs Utah St, vs Florida?
I mean, the odds of that are about 2%. If you applied that logic to every coach across the board then you could put almost anybody on that seat.
It's pretty silly.

I think hes finally backing off and letting Brady do his thing. A lot of us are taking a wait and see approach, but not me.
The kool aid is inside of me.

If the kool aid isn’t inside of you, you’re not a real college football fan.
Here’s to a 11-0 vs 11-0 matchup in Baton Rouge on November 30th.

I think Ed O is a lot safer than Gus.

I love Aggie logic.

Swap Luke with Gustav. I don't see us firing him unless all the wheels come off, whereas Luke was always a caretaker for the Landsharks while they were on probation.
As for LSU - didn't Eaux just get a raise and an extension after last season? Up to $4 mil a year with a $10 mil buyout? They'd need to lose at least 4 games in the RS before they would even consider letting him go this year, and with the talent they have I don't see how even he could frick it up that badly.
I also wonder how much rope SCarolina is gonna give Boom. He ought to be living up to his potential by now, shouldn't he?

Care to explain to me how I’m wrong?
Do you really think Orgeron is the guy to bring a championship back to LSU?
He’s a solid coach, great fit for the program culturally, but I think LSU deserves better, I want to see y’all actually compete against Alabama again. The SEC is just better when that is happening.
The longer y’all have him the longer you’ll have a championship drought.
I’m an Aggie, we know about championship droughts.

This list had to have been made before last Saturday.
Sumlin has to be closer to the top, if not at the very top, after that debacle.
