That means nothing. They are #3.

You literally could play a round robin of CUSA schools all at home, and if you're undefeated, you'd be in the CFP.

They already have all the signs stolen so it won't matter much

I think the CFP committee will look to keep out UM any way that they can to avoid them potentially having to forfeit a trophy five years from now when the NCAA finally acts.

That said, I hope it's enough disruption that PSU wins tomorrow and UM beats tOSU.

It likely keeps tOSU out of CFPs. Even if UM wins B1G, they'll be last among one-loss P5 champs for consideration in the CFPs, given SoS and the cloud of scandal.

The perfect storm and no B1G in CFPs.

I have doubts Michigan will win out. The have some serious distractions. This will all blow back on the field eventually. OSU isn’t super dominant, but they can win.

I have a feeling UM could lose to Penn State or OSU or both.

I wonder what happened vs TCU last year. Did they steal the wrong team's signs???

I think so, too. If one of them does win, UM will practically riot.

TCU apparently knew about Michigan’s sign-stealing habit ahead of their College Football Playoff matchup last New Year’s Eve, according to a report from Yahoo! Sports’ Ross Dellenger.

In order to mess with the Wolverines, the Horned Frogs changed their signs before kickoff. The coaches also used “dummy signals,” which were old plays that no longer ran with that signal. TCU players had to ignore these signals.

I believe TCU was contacted by some Big 10 schools to warn them of Michigan stealing signs. So TCU changed them.

Germans tipped TCU off that Michigan was stealing signs. Before the game Sonny Dykes changed all their signals, and even threw some of the old ones in that were dummy signals just to confuse Michigan. It was Germans.

Lols. I hate the overinflation of the B1G and PAC right now to keep national viewership # numbers up.

It's proven since the 00s that there is one football conference consistently worth a shite. TOSU is always good. The Big 12 and ACC have been good for a quality single team every year, or at least most. The PAC has been good for fodder alone since Pete Carroll left USC.

All that said, the scenario is a frick you to the B1G and, in particular, the most consistently overrated team in CFB in UM.

Correct, and I don't care about the conference.
