Among P5 institutions, moron. That leaves out the Ivy League and a lot of other elite institutions.

No shite. When comparing worth of a total program and institution to a P5 conference, the Ivy League schools don't really move the needle nowadays; nor are they part of the P5, so it is irrelevant to include them in the comparison.

Are you truly this dumb?

You knocked on UTx education. They will be 3rd in Academics behind Vandy and UF as soon as they join the conference.

Academic reputation carries a value in college sports, but that reputation is not the heaviest weight in those valuations.

I didn’t knock UT’s academics. I said they were a good school, not elite. The Texas fan said they were elite. Which is not true. Then I said Texas fans are so arrogant that they think they are Stanford academically and Alabama in football. Try actually reading.

Plus they think Austin is the greatest city in America. It’s true that Austin has its charm, but it is also overrun by homeless bums. It’s a lot like San Francisco in that regard.

Yeah, every school has some programs that are ranked in the top 30. I’m sure even LSU has a program or two ranked in the top 30 in the country. Doesn’t mean that the entire University is elite. Texas is not Harvard, Yale, Duke, or Stanford. Texas isn’t even Virginia or Michigan. This not a knock on Texas. You’re a good school. You’re just not elite.

Uga alum is a raging phuqtard attention hooer and this thread of his has-to-be one of the all-time worst in the history of tRant but ....

Using a debunked and corrupt college ranking metric such as U.S. News in your attempt to bolster your claim that the U of Texas is a superior national academic institution and marketably better, or finer, than others in the SEC is .... it's weak sauce.

#1 the U of Texas is not superior at, or to, anything.

#2 the U of Texas is not a member of the SEC. Not yet.

The fact remains, this thread of Uga_alum's is historically, even pathologically-so, phuqtardish.

The best season ever in college football in 2019, for one. Second only to Alabama in SEC championships in recent history.
