Objectively, who are the most valuable members of the SEC?

I’m going to start out by saying Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt is the only elite academic institution in the SEC.
I would also have to throw Georgia and Alabama in there. Those two schools have consistently been the best in football over the past 5 years. Football is definitely the most important sport.
I really do not see a team that is capable of winning a natty in basketball.
Baseball is a niche sport and really isn’t that important, but the Mississippi schools have stepped up and won championships the last two years.

LSU fan is sad that LSU wasn’t mentioned. If I mentioned LSU this thread would get 100 upvotes. Not that I care.

For arguments sake, tell me what LSU has contributed lately.

Or maybe that you think Vandy is the most valuable member of the conference.

They really are. It’s almost impressive in a “it’s hard to be so consistently awful” way.

Sad lsu fan has to come to the realization that Georgia is more valuable and nobody would really miss LSU if y’all went to the Big 12.

Georgia's Athletic Dept in general has been terrible for years outside of football. They're a 1 hit wonder who can talk shite for about 4 months of the year while they suck for the other 8

We’re not good at basketball either but I didn’t say that sport was irrelevant. Plus we’ve won a baseball natty and played for another. Schools like Arkansas have never won a baseball Natty.

MSU has the 3rd longest bowl streak in the SEC behind only Georgia and Alabama at 13 straight bowls. While not all were big bowls they still payout good money to the conference

You won a baseball natty in 1990. If that is your starting point then LSU has won 6 Nattys in baseball and 3 Nattys in football while playing for another. Compared to your one measly 1990 baseball natty and last years football natty. If anything, you have proved that Georgia is tier 2 in worth behind Lsu and Bama . Lmao!! Great work!!
