I'd say rite now we are looking at 3 minimum ( lsu, vandy and arky) and possibly 5 max with two of these possibly making it ( USCe, MSU, Kentucky and OM). A very distant long shot but UF is heatig up . I'd set it at 4 and take the under !

3 sounds like a good guess to me

3. I think South Carolina is too far down to make an Omaha run, MSU is leveling out to being more mediocre than previously speculated, and Kentucky will be close with the weakness of the East this seasons.

The West is absolutely stacked this year.
I'd put the O/U at 3.5, and would even go so far as to say that this could be the year that the SEC finally gets 5 in the CWS.
Miss. State, Ole Miss, Alabama, etc., are better than many realize, and you never know when a dark horse team like Florida might just rise up and go on a tear. They've faced the right competition so far for sure.

South Carolina will need to fix a lot of things and get hot if they have any chance of making it to Omaha.

This is a better question to ask when Regionals come out. Sometimes teams are unlucky and get a cross against an SEC team possibly in the Supers.

I like our chances with the way we're starting to swing the bats. The pitching has always been there.

The NCAA will set it up so that 4 SEC teams don't make it again. 3 is the max and it will be 3.
LSU
Vandy
And I'm tempted to say Arky but they need to get better defensively.
Wildcards- Miss State, USCe

Yeah. I don't think anybody would be too surprised if 6-7 teams from the SEC win their regionals. Everybody but Auburn, Missouri, Tennessee, & Georgia, are pretty good.
But you never know how those super regional pairings are going to look until the regionals are over with.

We just went 4-0 this week including a sweep @ Texas A&M in which we had over 40 hits on the weekend including 7 HRs
We are 30-9 and have an RPI of 9. Kendall Rogers of Perfect game thinks we are one of the best teams in America and have a good shot of making it to Omaha.
Not sure where the mediocre comment is coming from. We were one inning from winning 2 against your mighty tigers.

Y'all's remaining schedule is killer.
Kentucky
@LSU
Vandy
@Mississippi State

Oh man. I am now less optimistic. I haven't really looked at the schedule recently.

Am I the only one not sold on Vandy?

Right now I'd say:
LSU & VU -- more likely than not to make CWS
AR, UF, MSU, & OM -- 2 out of 4 might make it
SCAR, TAMU, KY, & AL -- 1 out of 4 might make it
I can never get a good pulse on Kentucky, and it's hard to know if Bama's legit or not this year. Their conference stats were out of this world (#1 in defense; #3 in offense) until they got swept this weekend, and even so, they still pitched decent. If Bama's offense earlier this year was just a freak occurrence, then they might have problems keeping up.
EDIT: In any case, congrats on some HUGE sweeps for Miss. State, Ole Miss, & Florida this weekend. You could make the argument that all 3 were underdogs to even win their series going in, and now each has a lot of momentum and confidence going forward.

Looking at the rest of State's schedule I think we'll finish 18-12 winning the rest of our series with exception of the vandy series and host a regional. I like our chances to making it to Omaha if we do this.
vs. Aub 3-0
@ Vandy 1-2
vs. UA 2-1
@ OM 2-1
vs USC 2-1

Three:
LSU, Vanderbilt, and one other. Most likely South Carolina or Arkansas.
