Before I bother reading this, is it any different than the SI article from three days ago?
ETA - I read it anyway. The only new thing I learned was that Saban had 5 follow up tests instead of the 3 required by the SEC for him to coach.

He went to Germany for testing.

I'm sure the NY Times really wishes they could inject into the article a statement that an emergency heart transplant flight was bumped on the tarmac in favor of Saban's covid test vial.

That’s like saying that libraries are failing. I mean, yea, because people don’t like to read anything unless it titillates

In regards to the NYT - it's because nobody with even a partially functioning brain trusts their motives for what they published. They are biased and have an agenda, and are clearly not an ally to college athletics.

I agree for the most part. But I’d add that I’ve never known of a publication that didn’t have an editorial slant. I don’t want to argue politics.
Agreed they’ve been heavy on the CTE and NCAA “amateurism.”

The Birdcage Bugle or the Kitty Litter Times has more credibility than the New York Times. Always an agenda. So frickin what Saban got tested multiple times.

Correction: people would rather read truth over fiction when it comes to media outlets.

Anybody with an analytical mind can tell you the secret is the two Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme pies and a Dr. Pepper for breakfast......Lil Debbie.....Truly may be the breakfast of champions.

Don’t care... won’t read anything the NYTs prints...yankee newspaper that hates everything about the South...particularly our collective appreciation of college football.

They lied about results.
That’s what you do when your “pOwErHoUsE pRoGrAm” and “gReAteSt cOaCh EvEr” goes 5+ YEARS (half a decade!) without winning the SEC + Natty in the same season

Are you saying Saban never tested positive for corona flu?

Just like your buddy the NY Times, you lie regarding facts and essence.
2015: SEC and NC titles
2016: SEC title
2017: NC title
2018: SEC title
2019: nothing, just like LSU in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, another way of saying it NOTHING the 7 years from 2012-2018.
OTOH, Bama has 5 SEC titles and 3 NC titles the 7 years from 2012-2018, including an SEC title and/or NC title in 6 of the 7 years. Again LSU - 0. Just facts.
Do enjoy your brief moment in the sun. LSU will probably lose more games in this abbreviated season than Bama has lost in the past 6 years.
