Sounds like you need to take it up with the guys that rated him so highly. LSU talent is not ASU talent to start. May want to compare Jayden Daniels time from ASU to LSU. All in all solo comparisons are hard because of all the factors. But I’m sure you knew that already.

I'm trying to find the games Russell/Mack started in 2025 but can't find them. Surely there must be one if you are going to compare them to Levitt. I do remember Mack in the Rose Bowl because of how terrible he looked.

People also seem to be overlooking the fact that Leavitt has a very serious injury requiring surgery. There is no guarantee he will have the same ability as before but LSU still (presumably) paid millions to secure his signature

Easy answer is he’s mobile and willing to run. Another thing is he may not even be the starter come September. If he isn’t fully healed or back to 100% of his previous self I doubt Lane would start him. Longstreet would probably be the starter then.

Google says Leavitt was the ONLY qb to post 80+ PFF grades for both passing AND running. Thats not just in the conference, or just in the portal, it was the entire CFB.
Google also says hes graded as Elite in both.
Of course all that was before injury.
