Agreed, Colonel Ingus. In a couple of months it is going to get stirred up again really well.

I think it would be tough to find scandal with a dumber person at the center of it. Some may call it sloppy or arrogant. But, it was just fricking plain stupid.

Yet 99.9% of LSU posters on tRant applauded him, called him “gangster” (when he’s clearly a privileged little shite who’s never been told no), and generally flaunted this stupidity at the rest of the SEC and the college basketball world.

The most satisfying part of all of this is not watching Will Wade get fired, it’s watching all of you LSU posters have to eat the shite sandwich you’ve been making the last 5 years.

This melt by tiger fans is ranking much higher than I ever imagined for a coach that didn’t win jack shite as a HC.

The fact that he cheated doesn't bother me. But using your cellphone and a joint checking acct with your wife to pay it? C'Mon man.

Punish the guilty, but don't kill the institution.

The institution did nothing when the revelations came to light and continue to thumb their nose at the NCAA by not self imposing a tourney ban.

Nah,the institution itself let this fester and eventually blow up.If this isn't one of the clearest examples of lack of institutional control I don't know what is.

They need to get the most severe sanctions possible.

I think the football issues are a bit overblown in terms of what is connected to LSU. Coach and AD from the Vadal Alexander/OLOL saga have been let go. That was almost 10 years ago. Maybe the program vacates some wins from the Les era.

Orgeron had an impermissible visit with a recruit. The Title IX stuff is bad, and it has since been addressed (although there’s a couple more heads that need to roll). I’m not sure what kind of football sanctions are appropriate for that sort of issue. I think it’s why we saw some issues with the Penn State situation. They vacated some of JoePa’s wins, then reinstated them some years later. The Sandusky stuff, as disturbing as it was, didn’t really pertain to players on the field.

I, as an Auburn fan, am disgusted by the level of these allegations.

I cannot believe anyone would stoop to the level of paying players to play basketball for your team.

I am so glad that none of us other, fine upstanding universities, have ever resorted to offering money to basketball or football recruits.

There is almost no room left on our pedastal of perfection that we stand upon and use to look down on LSU.

Let’s all give a warm golf clap to ourselves and pat each other on our backs for being such great followers of all the rules.

It'll be interesting if they let LSU keep their 2019 SEC title.

I guess they could vacate that, if Cal, Dickhead V, and Forde really get to bitching.

LSU is one of the reasons we had to vacate our SEC title.
