At least Kelly is realistic about things. Everything he is saying is true.

I get the whole SEC pride thing...but do Ole Miss, State, Kentucky, Auburn & USCe fans think they can beat ND?

ND would definitely lose to -

Alabama
Georgia (as long as they don't pull a Boise State repeat)
South Carolina

Would probably lose to -

Texas A&M
LSU
Florida

Everyone else would be pretty winnable for them.

I dont think UF or USCe can keep up with them on offense. Depending on what Mett shows up LSU could win.

No shite. Didn't you see where Notre Dame is giving away free rides to illegal immigrants?

If the golden domers played an SEC schedule they would go 5-3 to 4-4 in conference that's why the chose the ACC to keep their wins close to 10 a season. If ND played Mizzou's schedule in 2012 they wouldn't of played 'Bama last year or made a BCS game for that matter. I say SEC boycotts Notre Dame til they join a conference.

Seriously? Last year, UF had issues on offense, but still won 11 games with a tough schedule thanks to a great defense and special teams. That team would flat shut Notre Dame down. UF would win ugly (as they did in every victory), but they would win. You seem to be evaluating based on how unmotivated and unprepared they were for the bowl game against Louisville.

As to USC, the Cocks would also shut them down. The d-line would just blow up the Irish. And, as to USC's offense, it was far better than Florida's last year -- despite a starting QB injured all season; losing Lattimore for the season; and with a very young offensive line. Offensively, USC returns 9 of 11 starters (new center; one new wide receiver). The question marks are on defense where they replace the entire linebacking corps, two defensive backs, and two starting d-linemen.

Notre Dame had no idea what they were getting into against Bama -- it showed. They could not match the speed, power, discipline and preparation. Alabama was the best team in the SEC last year. Yet, the gap between them and the next five (UF, USC, TAMU, LSU and UGA) was not that great -- not as great as the drop-off to Notre Dame. No one really knows what would have happened had Notre Dame played any of those five teams, but the consensus is that all five would have been favored in a matchup with the Irish.

Well, Slive will definitely jump to 9 games to keep Georgia from playing Notre Dame, so we have nothing to worry about.

Look at all the teams that played Bama in the SeC. Just about every team they played gave them a hell of a better game than ND did. So his statement was factually correct. On the big stage that is the BCSNCG Notre Dame was more pathetic than every team that Bama played in the SEC except maybe Auburn

Yet, ask any ND fan and they'll say the SEC only recruits thugs. Dumbasses.

Texas A&M would score 60-70 points on Notre Dame, and no SEC team scored more than 29 points on A&M all year... A&M would rout them.

If you don't think Carolina would beat their arse, you're crazy.

Last year? Ole Miss would never have pulled a Pitt, even with the refs against them, and USCe would certainly have beat them. No idea how good ND will be this year, but ND last year was just as lucky as it was good.

Maybe Ole Miss, with how well they progressed at the end of the season. Probably not, but...they'd kept it close.

Well, I know OM took Pitt to the fricking woodshed in the bowl game, and that same Pitt team should've beaten ND.

Exactly.
Nd would be a worse than .500 team in Sec play

Notre Dame is simply a perennial pussy in the world of football. Match them up against a physical team and they fold like a fricking card table.
