One was within a game of playing for a national title.

The other won the Texas Bowl.

Love how LSU fans bend over for Kelly while everyone knows he's shite.

Amazing what homerism will do to a person's brain. Funny to watch.

And now watch how many downvotes I get from them..

Guess that sweet southern accent he brings out just hypnotizes them...

Alabama fans love all these single season metrics except when it comes to their own guy.

You love deflecting.

Brian Kelly is 1-4 all time against Alabama, with losses by 28, 17, 14 and 29. Is that better?

The same troll attempts will get the same responses.

If he's "shite", I'd hate to see what you believe of the rest of the coaches in the SEC.

I mean, you can’t deny that ND has improved under Freeman. Athletically, the team is much superior than the Kelly teams. They’re much faster and more physical than the cannon fodder Kelly trotted out.

Maybe but does the article get posted on the Rant otherwise? The article was written to drive clicks and shitting on another team’s coach is a good way to do that.

If Notre Dame and LSU swap schedules last season, who makes the playoffs?
LSU will always play a more competitive schedule over Notre Dame

They had two common opponents last season.

Notre Dame went 2-0.

LSU went 0-2.

Marcus Freeman is taking Notre Dame football to another level. The Irish win big games now.

So, ND fans sound like atm fans.

Always hope and moral victory's only to fail every time.

A big part of Freeman's success is that ND realized when they lost their coach that they had to open up the purse strings to compete in the current college football landscape. ND benefitted greatly last season from buying players in the portal.

I mean they aren’t wrong. Kelly has always folded in big games and Freeman won several last year

Now I dislike LSU too, but why even make this article? Seems low spirited by ND. Are they after the same recruit or something?

They got to sell something especially in the down periods for news. I will say this ND was not happy in how BK left with their team potentially making the playoff and they will never forget it. BK wanted more material support out of ND and it was not happening so he left for a place with potential and plenty of material resources. Time will tell who has the last word on this subject.

You guys need to play them.

Arkansas and A&M play ND this year so the common opponents will be interesting.
