He is 1-3.
The only one that mattered, that would have led to something other than a tier 2 bowl trophy, was the SEC championship game. He got dismantled by Georgia. He has won the Citrus, the Reliaquest, and the Texas bowls while at LSU
That Citrus bowl win is the biggest win of his career. He has gone 0-7 in BCS/CFP/NY6/conference championship games.
Which of Kelly’s bowl game wins is your favorite? Citrus, Texas, Reliaquest, Papajohns, Music City, Sun, or Camping World?

You mean BK can win the Reliaquest Bowl and the coach at BAMA can't?

It got you living vicariously through Vandy. Kelly was apparentely not up on his SEC history when he left the Golden Domers.
"BAMA Don't Lose in Baton Rouge."
Also, had LSU won out after the Bama Baton Rouge Massacre and just beaten Florida, they would have gone to Atlanta and play Texas and have a chance to steal a CFP bid, maybe from Bama lol
Big picture the outlook was bright still until that sad Saturday in the Swamp, made OU's shellacking of Bama that night not as fun

Tons of sports writing is beat writers trolling fans for hate clicks or one way or the other.

Kelly's "postseason problem" seems to be running into teams that really no one can beat.
Let’s explore this. Here are Kelly’s “major” post season games.
2008: Lost Orange Bowl to 9-4 Virginia Tech. 4 losses
2012: Lost BCS National Championship to 12-1 Alabama. 1 loss
2016: Lost Fiesta Bowl to 11-1 Ohio State. 1 loss
2018: Lost Semi Final CFP Cotton bowl to 13-0 Clemson. 0 losses
2020: Lost ACC championship to 10-2 Clemson. 2 losses
2020: Lost Semi Final CFP Rose Bowl to 13-0 Alabama. 0 losses
2022: Lost SEC Championship game to 15-0 Georgia. 0 losses.
Only 3 times did Kelly lose to undefeated teams that no one could beat.

So far yes, Kelly can win the Reliaquest bowl and Deboer can not.. And vice versa, Alabama’s coach can win a playoff game while LSU’s can not.

Let's also add some context.
2008: Lost Orange Bowl to 9-4 Virginia Tech. 4 losses (This was at Cincinnati, the first time Cincinnati had ever made a BCS bowl)
2012: Lost BCS National Championship to 12-1 Alabama. 1 loss (More talent, Nick Saban)
2016: Lost Fiesta Bowl to 11-1 Ohio State. 1 loss (More talent, Urban Meyer)
2018: Lost Semi Final CFP Cotton bowl to 13-0 Clemson. 0 losses
2020: Lost ACC championship to 10-2 Clemson. 2 losses (Beat this team earlier in the season, more talent, Dabo Swinney)
2020: Lost Semi Final CFP Rose Bowl to 13-0 Alabama. 0 losses
2022: Lost SEC Championship game to 15-0 Georgia. 0 losses.
So basically, the entire case against BK is:
1. He couldn't win a BCS bowl at a G5 (back when this was nearly impossible, it's why Boise State-Oklahoma was such a big upset).
2. He couldn't beat prime Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, or Dabo Swinney in the postseason when they had better talent
Hell, I'll take it.

But he can't even win a midtier bowl at BAMA, correct?

It's pretty easy to get the BKDS folks all riled up. All they have to do is read his name.

Yes, you will. And you will be right there with an excuse as to why LSU couldn’t win the big game.

BAMA fans should probably worry about their own coach at least winning a postseason game.

3-0 in three seasons.
Crapdalton spewing out crap again.
Isn't the SECCG considered post-season?
What about tha 50 point arse-whipping Kirby put on Kelly?
"He is 3-0 in games like the ReliaQuest Bowl."

Josh arse-raped Kelly on the 50 yard line as the halftime entertainment. LSU fans ran for the door like there was a sale on crawfish and cheap liquor in the parking lot.

In the ACC championship game that same season, the game that mattered, Clemson clapped his cheeks in rematch 34-10.
Notre Dame still made the playoffs. In that game, the second game of the season that really mattered. Notre Dame lost to Alabama 14-31.
I mean Notre Dame was a double digit underdog in both of those games (+10 vs Clemson and +19.5 vs Bama) so not like Kelly was up against evenly matched teams.
