Yep, and even if they lose a game or 2, most good SEC teams will have 2-4 losses. The committee doesn’t care about SOS.

What a joke

Bama has a 5 game stretch of games with 5 teams better than all but ONE team on NDs schedule

*Miami

Agree...the Committee should send them a notice right now saying you will not be in the playoffs. If they rank them up there to begin the season they have 100% chance of making the playoffs next year.

Miami is their toughest opponent. Amazing.

Wisconsin is in Green Bay, Navy is in Massachusetts, and USC game is also in a different city TBA.

That’s 6 true home games. Yeah screw Notre Dame, but be slightly more objective.

How come Notre Dame didn't make it this year?

Only 3 teams on the 2026 schedule had a winning record this year.

The new clause says if they try hard in every game they auto qualify regardless of record

Sadly the committee is too busy stroking Notre Dame to do anything of the sort

Yep....and since they didn't get their participation ribbons this year they will get an auto bid for next year.

I've said it numerous times..the CFP Committee is the same as a group of Figure Skating Judges...total subjective, biased, and more concerned with appearance.

Outcry about Miami winning head to head. Notice that they had ND ranked ahead of Miami until the criticism came.

The only team that got in with a worse record was Bama. Bama had the same 2 loss record as Notre Dame other than the SECCG and there was no way the committee was going to set the precedent of punishing a Big 10 or SEC team for losing in the conference championship. Had nothing to do with SOS.

Typical texass fan...not the sharpest knife in the drawer....

We played #7, #8, #9, and #14 on our schedule.

Are you really comparing that with Notre Dame's schedule? What a douchebag...

Please hurry up and carpet bag to another conference, or go independent. You and Notre Dame actually have a lot in common....whiny bitches...

Hey now, Purdue is almost a 30-minute walk from ND. Could be a hostile environment.

So sad.

By its own ambition. We’ve got entirely too many teams at this point.

Even if you go 10-2, you’re snubbed because only X # of SEC teams can get in.

I hope IU can maintain their level for a bit just to prevent the B1G from becoming a one-team league.
