There was a similar call in the Bama-Michigan game. A Bama player bumped into the lady ref and she called a 15 yard penalty

That ref was also running as far into the sideline as he possibly could. If he stays remotely near the field of play there's no contact. And our walk on hit him way softer than Bryce Young hit our punter twice.
