Not to play remember when, but this Saban doc brings up some feels

Yall realize how agonizingly close we were to 4 more?
A once in a forever college football kick six takes away a chance to play FSU. We boat race Mizzou, then I firmly believe we matchup great with FSU and win that. That’s 1
Next year, up 21-3 on OSU, Kiffin won’t run the ball. We throw some picks and they come back. We would’ve done to Oregon what OSU did. That’s 2
Clemson 2017, Kiffin fricks around and gets fired. Sark does what he can but Bo gets hurt. All world defense is on the field for 99 plays without a single hold called against Clemson, they run a pick play and score with 1 second left. That’s 3
2021 UGA, skullfricked them with Jamo. Jamo goes down, we’re already without Metchie. We’re left with Latu and Agiye Hall (who drops a big pass) Bolden and Jacory brooks. I firmly feel if we’re healthy we beat them again. That’s 4

Can you imagine had the playoffs had been around in 2013? Weren’t we in the final 4 after the Auburn loss? We would have had the opportunity to beat them again and appear in the title game I think had that happened just a year later (correct me if I’m wrong). Would’ve redeemed the kick six game a bit, or at least help it not sting so much.

I thought we had michigan dead in the water in 23 as well. Literally had all momentum until that 4th down conversion. And while it's not guaranteed that we would have beaten UDub. I liked our chances

Watching it just makes it sink in how incredibly fortunate I have been to be a fan of this team for 60+ years. Amazing.

We also won some national titles by a cuunt hair. I remember one in BCS was due to some crazy loss on the west coast in a late game. We also won one on one play ('12-'14?) where we miraculously held LSU on a 4th down on an incredible individual play by a DL.
As for the Clemson loss in the 2019 NC game will always go down as a mystery to me. I think Clemson was in our head sets or something.

We were so beat up at game time. I'd love to have seen an injury list like they do now for that game.

Got through the first two episodes last night. Very good watch. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not but damn the documentary does not make LSU look good at all.

No way they didn’t know our plays. That pick 6 on the first series was executed perfectly.
I think I’m more upset about not winning three straight. We were so close and from a skill standpoint should have. Being able to say that we are the ONLY team to win three straight worlds have been so nice.
