I have seen national pundits argue Alabama should want Washington to win but that makes no sense to me. No way we make it over an undefeated conference champion that beat media darling Oregon twice. I think with a win over UGA a logical person can make a sound argument for a 1 loss SEC champion who played Texas non conference over a 1 loss Pac champion who played Texas Tech non conference.

Then why is Oregon ahead of bama right now? The playoff committee loves the pac 12. If Oregon losses that completely elimates them from the conversation. If Oregon wins then you have a playoff committee that loves both of those teams and they will consider both of them to go to the playoffs. Either way a pac 12 team is going to the playoffs because this committee loves the pac 12. I agree most people would rank a sec team above them. But this isn't most years.

you bama fans need to realize that ya'll are not making the playoffs. it's just not happening.

All we need is a win tomorrow and FSU, Texas, or Michigan to lose to be a lock. Even if they all won, an Oregon win tonight might be enough to make it in over Oregon. None of these scenarios are that far fetched. Bama is at 8 because the committee feels it has a safe SEC representative in UGA. Beat them and Bama suddenly looks like the hottest team in the nation.

You aren’t comprehending me. Bama is at 8 right now…. But if Washington loses they will probably still be above Bama in the voters minds. Obviously if we beat UGA we jump, but people are going to be shouting that Washington has a better loss than bama.

Oh, I’m comprehending you. You just spitting out stupid shite. It’s like you haven’t seen CFP after CCGs since it started. Regardless of standings now, there would be ZERO chance the loser tonight makes it over Bama if they win tomorrow. The big games for Bama if they win are Texas and FSU….same for UGA if we lose tomorrow too

Don’t care who wins, but man I like to watch the Washington qb spin the ball.

The loser of tonight’s game isn’t making the playoffs. Being a conference champion is the only way in with this crowded field.

Looks at the playoff committee I count 7 people here that have an acc or pac 12 connection either by going to college there or working in those conferences you do not want 2, 1 lose pac 12 teams LINK

I get you brother but I'm just saying a pac 12 champion is going so why have a 1 lose one go and have another 1 lose maybe have a 10 percent chance of getting in.

They are trying to make Oregon look better. The pac 12 is looking like a joke on national TV right now.

There are players on the field, but I can't stop wondering if there are laws out West that significantly limit full contact practices.

The tackling is bad on both sides, and these teams have the worst tackling corners I've seen all year.
