That was a bit of a shock today. No one would’ve bet a nickel on either one of you. And South Carolina….your dang offense and QB looked flawless! Just unreal.

Florida stunk it up. That is for sure. But on defense and offense USC didn't look like their normal selves. Both sides of the ball looked physical and motivated. And the passes were awesome. Did anyone check to make sure there were no imposters?

Sorry to tell you that the previous 2 games didn't put the Sooner fear in anyone. 8 point win over powerhouse New Mexico at home and being blown out by Georgia the next game. Please tell me where I would’ve thought to bet on Oklahoma today. Is Georgia that much better than Texas?

Was it Georgia? If you call running 41 points on a “good” defense then how awesome is Bama’s defense? Really good defenses don’t allow 41 points.

The defense didn't give up 41.
Is that the reply that you are trying to get?
They have nfl Sunday players on all levels of that defense.

OU'd defense didn't allow 41 points, at least 17 of those points were directly attributable to Mateer playing like an absolute basketcase in the first half. He had a fumble returned for a TD and 2 other TOs on their side of the field. They only allowed 306 yards of offense and we were 3/12 on 3rd down.
The offense is a mess, but OU's defense is legit. Texas is kind of similar in that regard. That result didn't really shock me today.
Now SCAR taking UF to the woodshed on the road? That surprised me. Although it seems like Shane is good for at least one of those a year.

Sigh. You’re right. Everyone expected Oklahoma to win. Why did it take them so long? Can’t believe they weren’t ranked while playing the #1 team today.
