Not buying the Tennessee hype

Yes, I know they won their last six games of last season. But these are the teams they beat:
USC (4-8)
UAB
UK (8-5)
Missouri (6-6)
Vandy
Indiana (8-5)
Their best win was a 4 point win over UK and a 1 point victory over Indiana.
Recruiting rankings they already have 21 commits of those 12 are 3 star players. A better class than recent years but at the end of NSD it will be around the 7th best class in the SEC.
Tenn is still way behind UF, UGA, and Bama. Possibly being the third best team in the East is this the reason for optimism? Games vs USC and Missouri are still toss ups.

I agree, they are going to have to lower the price. 40-1 still not cheap enough.

Tennessee beat USCe, who beat Georgia. Therefore Tennessee is better than Georgia and will win the East.

I think they've found some way to capitalize on recruiting during this time of quarantine better than anyone else (whether you believe their methods are on the up and up is another discussion).
If they do manage to hold on to this recent wave of commits and add some more highly-rated guys, they are definitely on the upswing. The key will be how many of these guys will they really hold onto when on-campus visits start up again and they have another 4-5 loss season.
