I think they’re finally on the tight path. I give it 2 more years to consistently be back a legit big 6 contender.

Unless JT Daniels transfers to the Vols we're probably stuck with JG starting the season. Bailey early enrolled but COVID took away the practices he'd have gotten. Maurer is/was raw as hell (love the guy but he needed this Spring to help him be a bit more disciplined with his play). The others needed Spring Ball as well.
Really, things depend a lot on if anyone transfers in and/or when we start the season/how much practice we can get under the other guys' belts but if we were to start today, JG would be the starter.

haha right, im sure that's going to create a great perception for the program when players see Jeremy Pruitt screwing over kids who signed with him.
They'll lose the five stars once they see Tennessee is fake and has no chance at being good again.
Don't bother taking the trip to Athens in the fall, just going to be another arse kicking.

This is the same storyline I've heard from Tennessee for the past 10 years.
Your schedule is front loaded. You go out and you lose a bunch of games early in the season against good teams.
You play Alabama, lose.
After that point your schedule is nothing but cupcakes. Win out, win a bowl game against some mid major type team. Hype up the next season after such a great run.
Rinse and repeat. Year after year.
Well until next year, since your schedule has changed and isn't so easy on the back side anymore.
So enjoy this last year of preseason hype while you can.

Agreed. I actually feel sorry for their fanbase to go through this every single year in basically every sport.
