That means UK is not ranked in the top 46 coming off a 10 win season. Nebraska is coming off a 4 win season and is ranked 24. I just have a hard time believing there are 46 teams better than UK. I think the Cats have gained some respect among the coaches (who ranked them 31) and their SEC counterparts, but they still have absolutely none among the national media.

Dont take that AP poll to heart. the whole thing is shite. no one could convince me nebraska could beat state, kentucky, or frick arkansas or ole miss.

Would much rather be slept on with no hype and shock the hell out of ppl than overhyped and suffer the humiliation of everyone watching as you don't live up to expectations.

CG is correct. Nobody has played a single snap of tackle football as of now. The chips will fall where they will and we’ll count them up for real in November. Preseason polls are shite.

Preseason polls are stupid, and this can be used as motivation by the team. All that matters are on field results.

If theres anything we've learnedz its that Stoops and the boys thrive on disrespect. Ive said it before and Ill say it again, we're winning 8-9 plus bowl this year. We haven't gone anywhere.

I get you're miffed about your team compared to Nebraska.
But, let's find some merit in the poll.
Nebraska finished the season at 4-2 and has an"up and coming" coach, so a lot of people feel they're going to be a lot better.

LSU was ranked 18th in 2002 preseason. Made it all the way to 2nd even with a loss to Chris leak.

Polls don't mean jack until November. Do they help with public perception a smidgen but not really anymore. UK wins they will climb up the polls. The other thing to remember is AP is there to sell well clicks anymore. Nebraska football has a big following then Cats football. You all get the extra respect in when it comes to round ball rankings.
Do I think Tucky will be better the huskers? Yes and you should be ranked higher but like I said doesn't mean jack. For that matter I don't understand UCF still getting praise. If their QB was coming back maybe but they are going to get waxed this year.

Teams other than Alabama actually have a depth chart. Before Josh Allen there was Bud Dupree, before him Zdarius Smith. We just added FSU 5* transfer Xavier Peters, plus Chris Oatw and Deandre Square have looked excellent. AJ Rose was recruited more highly than Benny Snell.
UK fans are frustrated because we know what we have and the peanut gallery just sees Kentucky on the jersey and thinks last year was a freak occurence. Some of yall just havent been paying any attention.

One of the people that has a vote placed us at 18th. Another had us at 20th and another at 25th. Overall we averaged 35th.

Need to have a few more seasons like last year before you get favored nations status amongst the writers. Especially when you lose, by far, your best player from both sides of the line.
