Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I believe North Carolina hired Bill Belichick for the expressed purpose of making their program look more enticing for prospective conferences once the ACC inevitably collapses here in the next five years or so.

Let’s go to 1 huge conference. Have a soetheastern division, big 10 division, Atlantic coast division, big 8 division, pacific 10 division, southwest division, a big east division, and wherever notre dame fits in. Then tell the NCAA to kick rocks.

Why does it bother some that UNC isn’t that good at football? They’re damn good at everything else and god forbid you play a 6-6 team instead of the constant gauntlet the conference has to undergo.
If I am an Auburn fan I’d be clamoring for an easy conference win these days.

I like it and it’s actually fairly balanced.
I’d like to see WVU in there though. Rabid fan base and they actually travel very well. Won’t happen though because low tv sets.

Read on an On3 board where the past UNC President wanted the Big. Their board let him go. Their board of supervisors wants in the SEC unanimously
