Cancer in the locker room. Our captain on D (Jeremy Banks) decided to fight our Captain on O (Hooker) over NIL. Why right now? Because Tennessee can't have nice things. Just inexcusable
Post a reputable link...because that is the rumor going around on Volquest...which means that there is a 90% chance it is not true.

Can y'all please get together and decide upon 1 story. Did they fight over NiL or because Banks stepped on some sacred T and refused to do pushups

This rumor has been denied by the players.

Tennessee quite simply was outcoached and outplayed on both sides of the ball. SC had a very special performance in every aspect of the game, especially Rattler. Don’t get me wrong our db’s left plenty of guys wide open but there were alot of throws made that were absolutely perfect. One in particular looked like the UT db might have brushed the ball with his fingertips but the throw was just barely out of reach, right where it needed to be. I was disappointed with the effort by the vols as it did seem like they were flat. I don’t know that it would have mattered anyway.

explain to me what happened Saturday please.
it does not always favor the Gamecocks - see the Missouri at USC game this year. that game is even more inexplicable than what you saw Saturday night between Carolina & Tennessee.

it's so real it causes double posts

Vol defense was awful, Rattler played the game of his life.
It's really this simple. Our defense has been carried all year. Normally they do just enough. They didn't.

For one game, we looked like the 2019 LSU offense. There's no logical explanation but it was magical.
Burrow = Rattler
Chase = Juice Wells
Jefferson = Vann
CEH = Jaheim Bell

Didn't you hear? The defense didn't want to be there bc one of their players got into it with Hooker prior to the game and wasn't allow to travel. So the defense passive aggressively pouted and single handedly blew up their chance at winning their first national championship in over 20 years out of pure spite. It's the only real explanation.

I'd argue Karma too. I hate injuries and not blaming UT for Lattimore, but in consecutive years, UT crushed our souls with Lattimore (consensus SC legend and universally loved at USC) and inexplicably beating us with an average team and one of our best in 2013. We are now even for both of the terrible heartbreak they dished out to us those years.

This is trash.

Bottom line is USC whipped us in all 3 phases of the game. Thier defense was physical and their Offense played a great game, especially Rattler. Our defense could not stop them. They played a great game.

It's not trash. It's facts. Not saying I wanted it to happen that way, it's just how it played out and both situations are eerily similar
That Marquez North catch was just as unlikely as Rattlers performance. Only Gamecocks can probably remember North even existed bc he ripped out our hearts. Shaw got hurt in the game too I believe. That was the week before we famously came back against Mizzou where a hobbled Shaw led the comeback in the 4th Q

It's not how karma works. It's pure fantasy and your nice way of saying you blame us for Lattimore and are glad Hendon got hurt in exchange.

You can be salty for the game but not that no matter how you spin it. I'm in no way shape or form happy to see Hendon hurt. We beat y'all fair and square with him 100% playing. Just pointing out the similar situations orc at least how I see them

It had some similarities to LSU-Ole Miss 2019. On the road, late in the year, and the defense just doesn't show up. Ole Miss ran for 400 that night and if we didn't have Burrow throwing to a bunch of 1st round picks we lose that game like Tenn lost to SC.
