SOS is only one of multiple measures to be looked at.....

Like for instance, not given up 42 points to 2-7 Arkansas

Wisconsin actually has the number one strength of schedule for now with UF second.

OSU is 33. Pathetic.

You SEC guys do know we have a playoff system now right? We don’t have to argue anymore. All we have to do is fire up the grill or griddle, get some steaks or hash browns, eggs, add ham, and watch the games that I’m pretty sure a network has paid big money to broadcast. Then at the end of those games the coaches will shake hands and we’ll have a winner.

Or did you guys not watch last year past the SEC championship? I know you may have been confused thinking that was THE championship, but the rest of watched another month of football.

Ohio St opened the season against Texas. Texas was supposedly the #1 team in the SEC.

OSU can't help if Texas sucks...

I understand why you would like people not to mention SOS.

Their schedule is really soft, but that's not exactly OSU's fault. If OSU is truly as good as they are being hyped up to be then they will breeze through the playoff to another championship. Pretty simple.

This is what Commissioner Mack Rhoades said:

"We talked about I think early on defensively, maybe they weren’t as good as what we thought they would be, but certainly most recent, it seems like they’ve been much, much better defensively."

The B1G defenses aren't going to be tested as much and aren't going to be banged up as much as the SEC defenses. Of course their stats are going to be better!

In other words... Alabama's run against 4 ranked teams was not as important to the committee as B1G stats against cupcakes.

Tell me you don’t know college football without telling me you don’t know college football. Texas is one of the better defenses in the country statistically. They are in the top 15 overall last checked. Where is LSU?

LSU isn't relevant this season.

Moo St scored 31. Florida 29. Vanderbilt 31. All against that powerful defense. Surely these teams must be better than OSU.

About that don't know football without telling me you don't know football. LMAO !

Vanderbilt is pretty good. Moo state. Almost like decent teams can’t have an off day. Who knew?

LOL, Kentucky scored exactly 1 less point than OSU. One off day , maybe. However, that's more than one off day.

Texas is likely gonna end up with three losses. Is it a disappointment compared to the expectations? Yes. But that can be said for a lot of teams

Here’s the confusing part. If a team from the SEC run the gauntlet and wins the championship, they will have earned it. But if some team from another conference wins it, well it has to be because they were well rested and didn’t get a challenge but got hot in the playoffs. This is a stupid arse argument.

You were the one who came up with the argument then you called it "stupid". Are you calling yourself "stupid"?

Your harder schedule year is still easier than a standard SEC slate. Congratulations.

Well the 9th place Big 10 team last season slapped some SEC teams around in addition to Ohio State doing it.

Geez dude don’t be so myopic about rankings. I know it’s difficult for those of you who don’t play in a rugged conference to understand. Truthfully you just don’t know what you don’t know. Best way to explain it is this: on average would you rather play 8 or 9 Florida’s or 8 or 9 Northwestern’s week in and week out? One schedule is more difficult than the other.
