Gene is a good dude. Was very upset when he was hired, but he put together a good staff that could recruit. Lost the team in 2012 and went 0-8 in conference. That team had plenty of talent.

He was a damn fine DC too. He just wasn't a good HC. Some guys are just better teachers than they are leaders.
