No matter what you think about Cam, he is the ONLY reason Auburn got a Natty....(the ONLY reason Chizik got a natty) I should say.

Was the DC at two schools that went undefeated. Coached back to back Jim Thorpe winners. Everyone knew Chizik dumbass.

Actually Nick Fairley is more responsible for that Natty than Cam.
In the Alabama Auburn game that year...
If not for the fumble he caused and recovered on the Auburn 8 yard line with 54 secs left in the 1st half Auburn never comes back and wins that game.
That loss would have caused Oregon to Play TCU in the National Championship

It's Gus that got the bigger boost from Cam. No Cam, no OC version of the Gus Bus, no hiring him after a single year as HC at a lower-tier school. Gus has been desperately seeking Cam 2.0 ever since.
