After Napier's press conferences, I will take generic coach talk honestly...at least someone that sounds like he has a fricking clue. Napier always seemed fricking lost.

The season will be the only test that matters but Gator fans are not expecting much? Seems contradictor. But I do agree we should not expect a ton this year besides looking like we are an organized team(would be nice after watching us under Napier) so between 5-7 wins prob.

tbh, i feel like Sumrall would be a better cultural fit at AU, which is where almost everyone thought he was heading
but Freezus was considered a great fit for AU and that was a three year trainwreck
i like what i’ve heard from Sumrall and i think he’ll do well at UF
and i was in favor of hiring Golesh all along, so i believe both schools are in good shape

People will like him until he actually coaches his first game.

None of that seemed odd at all. What are you talking about?

Well like I said, as long as we look organized I am not expecting a ton this year..year 1 for a new coaching staff at a program is trial and error. I think it is fair to want
6-7 wins year 1
8-9 year 2
6-7 wins year 1
8-9 year 2

While it def is impressive we know till NSD nothing matters anymore...even after lol..caring about the commits and decommits right now is basically like watching "Its Always Sunny in Philidelphia" for good role models.

I think Sumrall was the best of all of the new hires. We will see.
My gut feeling about this hire is that Florida should have hired Buster as the head coach.
Florida fans will once again be stuck with a lengthy contract where "wait until next year" will become the benchmark.

Happy with the Trautwein hire. The O-Line will definitely become a strong point on the team.
Sumrall’s energy is great. I didn’t like him at first as Stricklin went the mid-major route already. Nor did I like him raiding the Kentucky coaching staff to fill slots, but I’ll withhold judgement until they have a season under their belts.

Guy retained our best players, actually did work in the portal, and currently has a top 5 class.
No matter how you slice it he’s been starting out good at UF.
Not to mention he seems way more involved with campus activities & the media.

You're not even a Florida fan, so no one cares what you think.
