Yeah I need to branch out thanks for the suggestion.

I also recently finished a bottle of Johnny Drum. It's a relatively new distillery, I think.
But for the price (around $25) it's one of the best bourbons I've had recently.

I need those stoppers to go next to my horse racing pictures and Woodford Derby bottle and Knob Creek Belmont bottle

I want to say Jim Beam had a commemorative bottle for the Preakness a long time ago... I could be wrong. But it would be cool to have the triple crown.

I mean, I'm happy for them because Roll Tide and all, but that quote about air conditioning is such horseshite.

My boy has been going to summer workouts at 4 AM for four years now. But he won't be playing past high school. I didn't see the "Get out of jail free" card with his practice schedule.

Are we sure that isn't the Dallas Cowboys' Jerry Jones saying that?

Ok, so when they were arrested, one of them had a stolen gun on them???
No, not on them. I believe the gun was under the seat.

Right. There is no reason that Bama fans shouldn't be happy about this. But I feel like everyone (with sense) should weep a little at the reasoning behind it.

And it's absolutely justifiable for people in Louisiana, some of whom may actually have to live in an area where this clown makes decisions that directly impact them, to be upset about this.

One gun was in Hooties lap and the stolen gun was under the seat.

The reality of the situation is that if they didn't play football they'd be in jail right now.

It's pretty typical of Louisiana though. Someone got paid

Haven't read all pages yet.

To this quote from DA Jones:

"I want to emphasize once again that the main reason I'm doing this is that I refuse to ruin the lives of two young men....."

There are two possible endings to this sentence.

1. "when I have insufficient evidence.", or

2. "who have spent their adolescence and teenage years, working and sweating, while we were all in the air conditioning."

He picked #2. Is that what they teach in law school nowadays.

Agreed. It makes you feel dirty to read that and realize that it's just standard procedure now. If a swimmer and Stanford gets a slap on the wrist for rape, of course these two aren't going to go down. That's reality today - there is too much money involved, and that's "legal" money I'm talking about.
