Prayers for coach Saban and his family.
It doesn’t matter, but you can’t help but wonder if that will impact his ESPN duties this weekend.

It sure does matter for him. If you’re lucky enough to still be able call your parents today and tell them you love them.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I was saying his appearance on ESPN doesn’t matter in light of losing his mom. Obviously the loss of a loved one matters a lot more than football.

Rest in Peace Ma'am. Prayers for strength and comfort to the family and friends.

Thoughts out for Coach Saban. I know that's hard.
I do not look forward to living life without my parents in it. I can't quite grasp that.
My dad turned 80 today. Was supposed to go down and have a big party and watch opening college football weekend with my family, but Mom has covid. Had to postpone everything...
Looks like we have a weird downvoter running around.. get a life, dude.

Wonder who the serial downvoter is..

When a person thumbs down every RIP on a thread, it really makes me think we have some serial killers on the board. Or at the very least they like to drown puppies in their back yard.

She had to be a proud mother to see what her son has accomplished in life. And he was blessed to have her as long as he did.

It's way more likely they're just an incel that never left their parents' basement.

No doubt.

Then again statistically I am sure it's more likely an incel would become a serial killer. If they ever got the motivation to leave the basement.

I can understand Nick taking that phone call.
When my mother was in her later years, I always answered. No matter where I was, or what I was doing.

My relationship with Coach Saban has run from ecstatic love for the man to absolute disgust and hate to now just a positive respect. Can't hate him. I like the guy. Losing a parent hurts anyone. Even that stoic. He shouldn't have to do ESPN this weekend. But that's not who he is. He'll be there.
