Anyone here think the rivalry between Saban and Jimbo is contrived or politely forced?
I just get the feeling it’s theatre and there is no legal wrongdoing of either program.

Bryce was already on the team when NIL started.
Most of Bama’s players that got paid were already on the team.

Would make sense for a company like Colin Cowherds to make a deal with a player who was the clear heir to the quarterback throne at the #1 program in the nation. You could expect to earn some value from using that kids image and likeness.
Jimbo is throwing 6 figures at every kid he meets.

Looks like A&M is the nervous one. When Saban talks people listen. The NCAA will now feel obligated to investigate exactly how Dumbo put this #1 class together. If the Aggies aren’t nervous they certainly should be. Saban isn’t the type to make claims he can’t back up.
