He didn’t want to throw saban or himself under the bus. Saban probably said youll never win one a natty at ole miss, at lsu you can. He also said(out his own mouth) uga is the best job in college football. I’ll trust saban over kiff on thoughts about the best job.

He didn't. He left LSU to take over the Miami Dolphins. He tried to get back to LSU when he decided he'd rather coach college, but LSU AD Skip Bertman told him no, that Les Miles was already the LSU coach.
Saban always said later on that his one regrettable mistake was leaving LSU.
