Lane is a better fit at LSU’s chaotic demeanor

Deboer is a better fit at Bama’s corporate country club feel

Doesn't Bama have a game today?

Why are you thinking about a school that is "not a rival" on the day of such a big game?

Its almost like Saban helped kiffin progress as a person in life and now feels good enough to recommend him.

Let's check average points per game. Gonna be including defense ones that actually help Kiffin here, but not a big deal IMO.

McElwain
2011: 34.8

Nussmeier
2012: 38.7
2013: 38.2

Lane Kiffin
2014: 36.9
2015: 35.1
2016: 38.8

Daboll
2017: 37.1

Locksley
2018: 45.6

Sark
2019: 47.2
2020: 48.5

BoB
2021: 39.9

Saban when he retired from Bama:

"Do NOT hire Kiffin. That idiot would ruin everything I've built."

Saban when LSU reached out to him:

"You guys should definitely hire Lane Kiffin! I think that sounds like a fabulous idea!"

I think Kiffin can fit at LSU, doubt he can at Alabama.

It’s absolutely true.
Show me where Saban publicly recommended him.

LSU is a final stop unless you want the NFL.

That I what I believe.

The thought that he dumps LSU for a post-DeBoer Bama job is unlikely.

That would be a lateral move.

He knows Kiffin is about to sink that program. It's his final "frick you" to the Bouchers

Spoken like a true idiot.

A progran that fires its HC at midseason has already sunk you friggin retard.

Bama fans. Gotta love 'em. They truly are the dumbest of the bunch.

Perhaps Saban didn't like the distractions of Kiffin while Saban was coaching. Perhaps Saban understood the Kiffin drama could hurt what he built at Bama in the long run. Perhaps Saban feels loyalty to his former assistants and understood LSU would be a big step up for Kiffin?

The tuggle from Bama and LSU fans over Saban is wild. It's not an either/or thing for Saban. The man loves both places.

Saban recommended DeBoer and didn’t consider Kiffin when the HC spot opened. Think about that for a minute.

Saban also supposedly recommended Houston Nutt for the lsu job when he left….

I am telling you. He is sending Lane to LSU to destroy them from the inside. Like what he did to Tennessee with Pruitt.
