I will take things fans if second tier/second rate programs say for $1000 Alex.

Nick Saban made 44-16.

Nick Saban is an above average HC without superior talent.

At Alabama: One 44-16 loss in a national championship game

At LSU: Zero losses in a national championship game

Saban Post-LSU:

0-1 in Games of the Century

LSU Post-Saban:

1-0 in Games of the Century

LSU would've lost to USC in 2003, IMO.

Nick got blown out numerous times at LSU, while that's not the case in Tuscaloosa.

NS helped rebuild Bama but he did not make Bama. Just like the next coach at ND will help rebuild what their past 4-5 coaches couldn't do.

On the argument if topic, Davan didn't make Bama. That's just not factual. They have a long history of success before Saban. He made this version, the most dominant and historic of the versions. He resurrected a program mired in mediocrity.
While LSU wasn't as successful in the past as Bama, we still had our own successes before Saban. He brought us to the modern era and awoke a giant that everyone knew was hiding there. When he's done with his career, at some point LSU fans will give him the admiration he deserves from our program. Just not possible while he's ruining our best era of football.

We'll never know, but LSU and USC had two common opponents and LSU beat both teams by a point more than USC. They were pretty evenly matched, but LSU's D at the end of the season was phenomenal (as UGA found out when they played LSU the 2nd time in the SECCG and got destroyed). OU was favored in the title game and had 154 total yards.

So you’re saying Les Miles did more at LSU than Saban?

There is no comparison. CNMFS ascended to Legend status at Alabama.

In Saban's second season here Alabama had an undefeated regular season and led the SECCG in the 4th quarter.

Sweet fail.

He went 12-2 in his second year with an SEC Championship Game and Sugar Bowl appearance to boot. We were ranked #1 for the entire month of November.
