Careful. Best......to be safe.....to be politically correct. There are actual no - red - dot - Indians buried under those mounds.

Moundville is an archaeological site and park in Hale County, Alabama,

There is also a nice little museum with artifacts near Moulton, AL. The AHSAA Cross Country Championships are held next to it in early November every year (usually the same day as the Alabama-LSU football game).

As far as being PC, the 202-year-old federal "Bureau of Indian Affairs" says "Hi".

Yeah those mounds are all over the place from the Ohio River valley all the way down to the gulf coast.

Pretty safe bet we would have no idea that civilization even existed if they hadn’t decided to build boob looking burial mounds all over the place.

Someone tried to jump their jeep over one when I was in school.

Killed a girl.

Yeah those are babies. The LSU mounds are 11,000 years old. And that is where the mojo comes from for Tiger Stadium. You get 102,000 people all screaming hate and danger at a team with that kind of tap to the magic and you get a place called Death Valley.

It's about to flex.

Aren't most Indian mounds in the United States rather old?

These are some of the oldest. They contributed to the reevaluation of the Paleo to Meso transition period.

Based on the pace of LA highway construction, it’s certainly possible.
