Who? Gurley?

I think Gurley should be ahead of Jameis, don't worry

Generally speaking, if someone insists on acting like a quarterback one should have to factor throwing ability into a determination of relative athleticism.

What Im trying to say is, because Nick Marshall cant throw for dick, as a QB he should penalized for that in such lists. He's the ultimate system QB with some wiggle and nice straight line speed.

He's got a cannon arm ie he can throw far and throw hard.

Why? This is NFL.com. They don't give a frick about position, they care about athleticism.

Would you say the NFL should've factored throwing ability into their scouting of Antwaan Randle El because he held himself out to be a QB in college?

NM is athletic enough to play DB and QB in the SEC, and had legit D1 offers to play basketball... Dude is a hell of an athlete... and I agree, Winston should probably be on the list.

That's just wrong. Jamarcus was a freak because of his size and ridiculous throwing strength, but that's about it. I know someone who use to explain to me that Jamarcus was unbelievably fast but because his legs were so long it just didn't look like it....

Bud should be even higher.

He's pushing 270 now and is going to be a monster off the edge for UK this season.

Christian Jones was the first player I thought of when seeing this thread. Really surprised with the absence of Braxton Miller.

Can't believe that don't have Goodley up there if they have Petty. Goodley squats 660, runs a 4.4 and is a 5'10 220lb WR!

Nick Marshall had a video of him doing footwork drills on IG today. Made one of our WRs video look foolish in comparison. I think teams will take a good look at drafting him and moving to another position just off of his abilities alone.

worked out for Randle El

Despite me loving Marshall being rated high, this list is some bullshite. An OT from ASU made the list because he can squat 565, bench 430 and clean 385. I have a buddy who comes within or better than 20 pounds of all those numbers and is only 5'9 185. Not impressed

I gotta disagree. If it's a countdown ranking athleticism, throwing accuracy isn't even a big factor. It's all about measurables. Denard Robinson wasn't a good QB, but he would have been on this list a few years ago (and rightfully so).

I don't know if Derrick Henry is absent because he was relatively unknown until after the Sugar Bowl or because he didn't get a ton of carries last year, but as far as freak athleticism is concerned, I fully expect to see him near the top of this list next year. His size, strength, and speed combo is rare.
