Go back and watch the tackle on CJ Mosley in the infamous 1-9-12 game. That tackle dislocated his hip. There is a reason that tackle should be eliminated.
Other than a shitty tackle by a QB after throwing a pick, please tell me what kind of tackle this was.

So how the hell is a 180lb DB supposed to tackle Derrick Henry?

It should be outlawed immediately by NCAA. Player safety should be #1 instead of making money.

Well, it’s Troy Vincent’s idea so of course it’s stupid. He’s a moron.

That was hardly a hip drop tackle and was a freak injury and could've happened on any tackle from the side or from behind. You are basically disallowing wrapping up which has been the staple of tackling since football's inception.

It'll be flag football sooner or later. Tackling is dangerous especially when its the top .01% of physically gifted athletes who've rigorously trained for 15-30 years for strength, power, speed, etc.

Hopefully there are clear rules on it and its not open to the refs judgement. Cause the calls will affect the games dramatically.

And hip drop tackles don't happen in hockey or lacrosse, so absolutely astounding job of missing the point.

So you said they are more appealing, why?
