Isn't the draft used as key evidence of SEC superiority? What are the SEC fans going to say after tonight? There are obviously going to be more BIg Ten picks in the first round.

Considering they have guys like Smith who arent eligible, one of the most talented teams to not win a title. They have more guys going 2nd round tomorrow. I think Day is a top tier coach but its insane to me to you cant win a title with that much talent. Its not like his QB is a bum, Sayin almost broke (or maybe did?) the completion record this year.
I love that Mendoza kid. Kid has his head on straight and is just a dog. Hard to root against that.

I cannot understand how he went so high. If they don't move him to guard he's going to be a definite bust.

He did win a title with these guys in 2024 so its a little easier to stomach but yeah it was really disappointing to not repeat with this roster. You'll notice none of the players selected came from the offensive line though and thats really the issue. You can have all the talent in the world at the skill positions but the game is still won in the trenches.
