Being called the GOAT and elite runner etc...when he simply hasnt ever backed that up with running the football. I mean even just 1 season where you go "WOW" didn't happen. His receiving skills will be big in the NFL but he will have to improve as a runner from his college days if he wants to be considered a top NFL back.

Darrel Williams 2nd run 4.73

Darrel Williams will be a bruiser, goal line running back in the NFL. Good backup for short yard situations.

He's not gotten any love since the latter half of the season when the team fell apart. It's a shame
Word is Kelly isn't running at the combine?....If true, odd.

I'll get downvoted by LSU fans for this comment, but Darrell Williams will be very fortunate to make a 53 man roster. Really liked him at LSU but he really doesn't have much upside at the next level IMO. RBs like him are a dime a dozen in the NFL.

Man Bo is the most special back at bama in terms of tools I've seen. Problem is he's had more injuries than all of them combined it seems. Hope he has a good career

I think he'd be great in the right scheme. For being as big and slow as he is, he always got out in the open. He has great vision and great hands

One thing I've noticed about Barkley as runner is that he doesn't close violently. He leaves yards on the field on decently-defended runs.
Other high-level big backs (Peterson, Gurley, Fournette etc.) tend to end runs by delivering a blow more often.

Proof that combine numbers mean nothing.

Could be the case....I've seen some speculate his 40 time might hurt more than help? I have no idea what his 40 time would be compared to others at the combine?

Did I just hear pettway ran a 4.47? Christ
Posted on 3/2/18 at 1:25 pm to auzach91
Petteways first run was 4.77

How does that prove that?

We all know who the best back in this class is and he played for Georgia.

He's never been a straight line runner so he might be slower than the others. OTOH, he's slippery as hell. Bouncy and hard to tackle.
