I was talking about that earlier with a buddy. I just don't understand it.

Look at the avg "lifespan" of a RB in the NFL...why pay big bucks for a part that will have to be replaced, and can be replaced, in a few years?

What is up with all of these Aubs commenting on Bama players?

Since when is the NFL draft about rivalries? My comments in here have nothing to do with what school an athlete attended.

Feel free to prove me wrong.

eta: I will only add that I may use a draft picks school as a point of identification or reference.

He needed to after missing on Terrence Cody and Courtney UpShaw...

I really like the picks of Tummy Jernigan and CJ Moseley, though.

He will get to play with a bunch of DEs on that line

Upshaw wasn't a miss..............yet

Having a better MLB and DL helps Upshaw

Terrence Cody was but I figured he would be as fat and lazy as he was

They're having a good draft. Moseley is a good pick, of course, but Jernigan could turn out to be a total steal in the 2nd round.

Plus, the RBs just aren't that great this year. Hyde and Hill are the only two I'd bet would go tonight.

That can be said about any position. Plus, we are past the "big bucks" stage of the draft now.

Just looked....the 33rd pick last year got a four year/ $5,469,101

Geno Smith QB 39th pick......four year/ $5,109,602

Meh, I disagree...unless he does something special this year. 2nd string outside linebacker with only 3 sacks in his career. Unless they want him as a glorified run stopped, he has no value there. He might have been starting by now, but Baltimore went out and grabbed Elvis Dumervil to pair with Terrell Suggs.

It sure seems that way. He needs to take off his bear bryant knickers and chill for a bit.

Or you can pick up a 6th or 7th round guy for 400k a year.
