And there defensive strategy......

quote:

...ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. But Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now think about it; that does not make sense!

quote:

Why would a Wookiee, an 8-foot-tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of 2-foot-tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense! Look at me. I'm a lawyer defending a university sports program, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.[1]

They could possibly be the best defense in the east if they were not coached by Lesbian Lyle.

I needed a good buttchugger offseason thread.

3'rd...nice

And no, anything less than 1st in the east next season will be a disappointment. We are set up very well to do that. To deny that is just dumb.

I know the difference asshat. But I cant even deny the mistake. My only defense was that I was typing on my iPhone in a rush before my next meeting. I was too enthusiastic to be the 1st too make a Chewbacca defense reference. So mea culpa. As punishment, Im going to acknowledge that Fulmer was a good coach and owned Bama during "Mike" years.

And yes, I read the rant while at the office.

Ps. Not even going to fix the errors in the above.

UT is the overwhelming favorite to win the east but I think UGA will have the top D in the division, the dawgs just have too many questions on the O starting with the true frosh at QB.

You lose every 6 players from your 2015 starting front 7

Pass D will be legit though

UGA's front 7 I think will be more talented, the only key losses are Floyd and Jenkins. Lo Carter, Davin Bellamy, D'Andre Walker, Natrez Patrick and Roquan Smith just at LB got plenty of PT last yr, of course the front starts with Trent Thompson who I expect to be all conference. Mayes and Bailey will be UFA's for a reason, addition by subtraction.

Yall do have a ton of experienced talent, and I know Kirby is a defensive coach, but you can't expect a whole new system with new starters under new coaches to improve. Occasionally it happens but it is not the rule.

Maybe the new coaches part, but the system is pretty similar to the one they had the last 2 seasons

Gotcha. Not saying it can't happen but you know if UT was in the exact same position people would say "New coach new players youre going to suck blahblah blah"
