No to worry, if you two are at Kyle Field next year you will not be counted among the "intelligent". Do us a big favor and sit right in the middle of the 10,000 empty seats so we can keep an eye on both of you.

most people don't understand how many unused tickets to Tennessee, lsu, alabama, or auburn games there are.

At the end of the day I would rather have the best experience than "most fans".

I don't think that's quite right. The big stadiums fill up for big games. I know this year most Auburn games were very near full. The size of stadium built is a careful balancing act between maximizing size to increase profit while providing a good environment for almost every game.

Adding seats is a long term bad idea above 80k.

Not so for Aggies. The stadium averaged about 105% of capacity this year. Since the announcement A&M was joining the SEC, demand for tickets skyrocketed.

Our average stadium attendance is higher than a lot of teams capacities. Even if there are unused seats for crap games, we still fill it up 4-5 times a year. Which is awesome

I highly doubt this.
I am talking about punched tickets vs sold tickets. Several thousand go unused at most big stadium for various reasons. Rewatch Bama LSU and check Bama Arky for a comparison. The stands were more full in the LSU game.

You could do that for every single big stadium in the SEC.

No doubt.

I'm concerned with increasing gas prices and the decreasing wealth of the average American will make attendance more expensive, therefore I would suggest everyone who will listen to STOP the arms race in how many you can sit around your stadium.

109k Total - (9 to 19)k LSU fans = (90 to 100)k Aggy

But I look forward to bringing some life to the Aggy tailgate scene again. Couldn't tell if y'all were tailgating for a football game or a funeral last time.

Two things:

1. The higher gas prices get, the MORE Aggies can afford to go to games.

2. We have the highest enrollment in the SEC and we have no plans to shrink. Our alumni base will be huge and located in nearby Austin, Dallas, and Houston.

Congrat's on the expansion. When your team sucks you will go back to 76k attendance like in 2009.

every game this year and last was sold out in reality, not just in tickets, including the weak non-conference games
