Then you cant count Greenard. He's a Grantham guy.

Oh, that's interesting. Should we call him a "Grantham special" then?

Turns out, McElwain actually recruited well enough to compete in the SEC as evidenced by Florida's 10-3 and 11-2 seasons after his firing.

Hopefully the OL gets a huge facelift and we can run the ball next season.

How can this be accomplished in 8 months?

Did Pickens leave UGA? lol you can’t seriously be suggesting Cager is better than Pickens. Pickens led UGA in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. He was MVP of the sugar bowl...

Did Pickens leave UGA?

You ignore every other point to djs stupid comment about turning an offensive line over something that's objective.

If Cager plays the entire year he crushes Pickens' numbers, it's not even a debate.

In fact, in Fromm's last 7 games he only hit over 50% twice -- the Florida game and Baylor. Florida was the first game of that 7 game stretch, and Cager was injured after that.

So when Cager wasn't in the game, Fromm literally could only reach 50% of his passes by playing a Big XII team. It's not even a debate. Cager played 8 games and Pickens played 12.

I forget, how many scholarship players were
left on the roster at the end of 2017? How many were suspended/ injured?

Weren't you down 30+ players?

What was that number in 2018?

He didn’t. First, an injury prone player is worse than a reliable one. Have to be on the field to have an impact. Second, Pickens got better as the year went on.

Wonder why he was over 50% for the game Pickens won MVP...

You’re repeating yourself, so I guess I will. Have to be on the field to have an impact. Pickens stayed healthy while Cager was injury prone. Find me anyone who would take Cager over Pickens besides dumb UF fans who’d rather have the player who can’t stay on the field and who finishes with less numbers in literally every category.

It remains to be seen if that TE advantage is real.

I think trask, nix and Brennan will be the top 3 QBs this year. Florida is primed to take the East and will be in better shape to take out uga.

Good joke.

Wait, you're serious?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I'm so glad you're feeling so confident. Gonna be so nice when you're crying about 4 losses in a row to that "inferior" coach and "house of cards" at UGA next season.

Return 3 starters from the sugar bowl, and a 4th who started in the national championship game. May add 2 5 star OT to the roster.

Best RB left for the draft.

Return our starter from the sugar bowl.

Veteran QB left for the draft.

He struggled big time in 2019.

Also missed the sugar bowl, and our other best wr showed out.

I asked how it’s gonna be done. You spaz out and fail to answer the question.

Weren't you down 30+ players?

When the final whistle blew on Saturday the Gators were playing with 53 healthy scholarship players. The Southeastern Conference allows road teams to travel and dress 70 players. The Gators couldn’t even do that if they wanted to.

“I feel like people didn’t realize, not making any excuses, but before the season we lost our two best offensive guys,” starting linebacker David Reese said. “We lost a lot of numbers. We lost a lot of guys that could have been key pieces to this team.”

Reese was referring to running back Jordan Scarlett and receiver Antonio Callaway. They’re not injured but have been suspended the entire season. Florida has nine players, three of which would have been starters or key contributors.

Football is a violent game and injuries are a part of that but Florida has had more than its fair share of injuries. The season started ominously with starting safety Marcell tearing his Achilles tendon during a workout. Then nine suspensions and Florida was already playing with 74 scholarship players rather than the 84 they should have been.

Then Nick Washington goes down. Luke Del Rio, Malik Davis, Quincy Lenton, Kylan Johnson, Brett Heggie and James Robinson all get added to the list. At some point, the missing players become a mountain that you can’t overcome.
