Grantham needs to fix his third down defense, but he isnt as bad as some make him to be. His defense is very similar to the Patriots in scheme, the issue has been our secondary struggles with it. I blame English for the safeties constantly being out of position and not seeming to know what to do far to often. Add in man coverage was lacking with Henderson and Wilson being average.
Grantham has a great scheme. We just have not had the corners and safeties needed. We have the front seven for it. Hopefully Elam and possibly Dean if back to outside corner and Marco ar nickel can do well enough to let him call a gameplan he is comfortable with. Notice late in the year it improved when Marco went inside. Were able to play man a bit more and moved away from the softer zones we used for a lot more of the year than we needed to.

Gee,kinda giving yourself a lotta leeway on your prediction there.I can make the 8 to 11 win prediction for UGA,Bama,AU,UF and LSU and probably get 4 of em correct.

Not my prediction. Our. As a group. You said Gator fans, so I said what most predictions were. I went 10-2 I'm pretty sure. Though I thought we'd lose to Georgia and Missouri. Missed on LSU preseason quite a bit lol

Ppl fail to realize how bad Mac recruited the defense. Our whole front 7 are 3 star players except for Z Carter but they think a DC can make em compete with teams like UGA and LSU who are loaded with NFL talent.

Dumb arse LSU scored 42 points in 38 plays on his defense.
Burrow only had 3 incompletions the entire game. Three DUMB arse.
Most of their TD drives were about 4 plays.
Ball control by Mullen's offense stopped LSU offense more than Grantham's defense.
We had the ball almost 20 more minutes than LSU.
Opposed to Clemson having the ball almost 10 minutes less than LSU
His 3rd down defense was all-time terrible.

Clemson didn't have better players as a unit. UF has players from each level of the defense that will go higher in this year's draft.
