All of the experience they have.

All of the experience LSU doesn't have.

Texas won’t get in, but they have better odds for two reasons:

- LSU lost most of their championship team
- Texas is in a far easier conference

Maybe I am reading it wrong but I believe those are the odds to win it. Texas may get in easier but they then have to play two real games.

Getting in is the biggest hurdle. With a month of preparation anything can happen in two games

Very telling:

Alabama has two other conference opponents (UGA, UF) before Ohio State gets one.

Alabama has five other conference opponents before Clemson gets one. No - Notre Dame is not in the ACC.

It doesn’t matter. Texas’s only real hurdle is Oklahoma. That significantly increases their chances.

LSU has to deal with Alabama, Florida, Auburn, A&M, and the East champion

Maybe LSU's number is correct but 16-1 and Texas has to beat Oklahoma, avoid stepping on their own prick in another random conference game, and then beat two of the best 4 teams in the country? I would lay a lot more than 16-1.

Well, if you make it to the playoffs you're now two games away from winning. Your odds may not be great comparatively, but you're one of only 4 teams that can even do so - as opposed to right now, where all teams playing have a shot.

I've been hearing that Texas has a legitimate shot to win the Big XII because Oklahoma will have a down year. Now you can decide if you believe that or not but Big XII champ is in

Seriously? Have you seen how much talent LSU lost? They also lost both coordinators. If LSU didn't play the weakest teams from the SEC East this year minus Florida, they'd be lucky to win 4 or 5 games.

Georgia doesn't belong on that list. They won't even win the East. Florida is a good bet at 14/1.

This season notre dame actually is, so it is accurate to say they are in the ACC.

Ban bet? You being an OSU fan, you have no clue about what we return. Our backups would start at most other schools outside of the big 6 plus we now have schemes in place to compete with everyone. Our o line had a lot of experience even though we return only 1 starter. I would put our skill position players even without Chase against anyone in the country and the defense should be better this year. So keep doubting LSU just like everyone did last year. It seemed to work out well for us.
