This isn't about oversigning. It's about Auburn graduating in the neighborhood, 40% of black athletes, while white athletes are around 87%. Auburn always uses the family mantra, but it's clear what they do. They, use and abuse and cut loose when it doesn't benefit them anymore, re, the eric ramsey thing.

There you go again with your racist shite. Didn't you get banned once for one of your racist tirades?

That is the last time I respond to your racist bullshite. There is no place for it here. Period.

It's fact. It's in the NCAA APR that was released a few months ago. Go scream racism at them or your school.

That article is weak as shite. Saban said they were dismissed for violating team rules or for grades. Prince Hall had already been suspended 3 times. Alonzo Lawrence had to transfer to JUCO from Southern Miss due to grades. Preyear tranferred to Alabama State and is currently not playing due to grades. Brandon Fanney transferred after starting in 2007 and finishing 2nd on the team in total tackles. You think Saban asked him to get lost for no good reason?

Weak as shite.

Do you have a link or have data for all the schools in the SEC?

I'd like to see how we compare.

Oh, and Ramsey. I'd like to set that motherfricker on fire. Then run him over with my car.

See this is why Auburn is doomed. Every Auburn poster is more concerned with blaming Ramsey instead of being pissed at the people paying off players. This is why it has likely happened again and will continue to happen. Sure Ramsey is no saint, but why do you ignore the corruption in your school?

Same ol' same ol' from TnM. Gets stuck in a corner, and uses some pathetic "I'm better than you" excuse to avoid the debate. What a puss.

I'll find it for you, been a few months and I didn't save it in my favorite places, but it had all Division I schools listed.

Okay, Eric Ramsey is a piece of shite. Does that somehow absolve Pat Dye and the others at Auburn for blatantly breaking NCAA rules? You are attacking the messanger, but that does nothing to change the truth of the message.

The Auburn football program was corrupt. Two of the participants in that corruption are still in positions of influence at Auburn. Thise are facts. As much as you try and divert attention away from them you can't change them. So please quit trying.

You are pissed because you thought you bought someone's loyalty, and you found out he was willing to sell it to someone else as well. Did you have the same sense of outrage when Tommy Tuberville came to Auburn for more money then he was getting paid by Ole Miss? Or how about Gene Chizik? Are they pieces of shite too?

Let's see how many he signs this year and how many leave with the upcoming lockout. It'll be interesting if he signs (25) like he has every year won't it?

PS: I pray that Chizik doesn't engage in this shite.

I was wrong in that it was an NCAA release. It was an independent study that is conducted by UCF each year. I can't get it to open on this computer, but it should be on this page. It's been awhile, if I'm not mistaken, it has each conference's breakdown and percentages for all the Div I schools. If this isn't it, let me know and I'll research more tomorrow for the correct link. Have a good Thanksgiving.

Already started. Signed 60 in 2 yrs already and there were 7 players released with no explanations after his first season. It's part of football and has to be done to be successful. Earn your scholarship or someone else will earn it.

Was? As in past tense?

No sale. It still is, and always will be unless something drastic happens to change it.

[quote]1. After his senior year, Ramsey meets with Dye and asks him for his opinion on his chances of playing in the NFL. Dye, never being one to beat around the bush flat out tells him he ain't good enough.

Auburn even pays players that aren't good enough ?
Hell when are the interviews I mean tryouts?

You are correct. AU never stopped. Only the death penalty will stop it until the football program starts up again. It's the only way second class citizens of Alabama can feel good about themselves.

2. Ramsey is a broke arse college kid (that $300 a month doesn't go too far), with a fairly hot wife and two kids. The bitch probably married him and got knocked up because he told her he was going to be in the NFL one day.

Trying to identify the fact in #2. Is it that his wife was fairly hot, the bitch probably married him and got knocked up because he told her he was going to be in the NFL one day, or that he was a broke arse college student?

Given Auburn's track record of cheating and long list of NCAA violations and sanctions, I can't see how anyone can be blamed for at least suspecting history to repeat itself- especially with many of the same shady characters at the helm. Tiger n Miami AU83, I read that thread from way earlier this year where you and "Born to Be a Tiger" discussed cheating allegations involving AU coaches in the recruitment of Seastrunk. You called him a liar and all other nasty things because he said AU would eventually be exposed for their "SMU style recruiting". Not trying to be a jerk, but would you care to reflect?

ETA: I didn't see "Born's" post until after I posted.

It's another 'where are they now' piece on Ramsey, as if he'd actually accomplished something newsworthy in the past 17 years. Which he hasn't.

It's setting the stage for what will follow. Just waiting on the feds to hand over them tapes.

It's institutionalized organizational fraud, and should be made illegal. Do what you say you're going to do, or be penalized. That's how it ought to be.
